There are few people in the world who love their jobs, or the equipment they use to do it, enough to write a song and create a music video about it.
For the two construction workers featured in Caterpillar’s new marketing video, their love for their new bulldozer, the Cat D6N, is so intense it inspired a catchy rap dubbed “Dozer Pride.”
Here’s a sample of the lyrics:
Yo, It’s 6 o’clock and the job is done,
But I’m not going anywhere cuz this is too much fun, (okay)
I’m reminded every time I see a precision grade,
This is probably the best decision I’ve ever made (yeah)
When I first laid eyes on it, I knew I found the one for me (one for me), climbed inside and sat down in the lap of luxury (luxury).
It’s been great, in the weeks since then,
Honk when u see me operating in my D6N, (yeah)
These rapping construction workers are pretty impressive, even if they are lip syncing. The video has already received more than 100,000 views on YouTube. Check it out:
