Infection Control System by E-Mist & Next Level 11

E-Mist Innovations, Inc. partnered with Next Level 11 to provide a comprehensive, end-to-end infection control system process for healthcare settings. It combines the E-Mist patented electrostatic disinfectant application system with the Next Level 11 Test, Track, Treat, and Train protocol for bacteria eradication.

The infection control process uses tracking technology and surface treatment to monitor, manage, and provide real-time bacteria level results. It identifies where bacteria are located and disinfects the equipment or area.

infection controlNext Level 11’s Bac-Track square is an adenosine triphosphate (ATP) monitoring system. It allows users to track contamination and maintenance levels on equipment. This square is linked to Bac-track software, which provides facilities with a dashboard to monitor bacteria levels. Users can view monthly trends, treatment, cleaning effectiveness, and pinpoint where the highest risk areas are for contamination. The software identifies the highest risks in chronological order, down to the location, department, room, and piece of equipment. This provides the correct documentation for regulatory agencies during annual reviews and surveys.

By measuring the data, teams are given better ways to improve disinfecting protocols and the proper way to apply chemicals. The goal is less chemicals and better coverage for less overall contamination levels.

E-Mist uses proprietary adaptations of electrostatic technology and induction charging of liquid droplets to produce precise, controlled, high-performance liquid application and management capabilities for treatment of hard and soft surfaces. The charged droplets seek out the target magnetically, more forcefully, and with greater surface adhesion. The droplets cling to the surface with a comprehensive coverage effect to allow for proper dwell time, equating to a disinfected surface.

infection controlE-Mist recently launched the BackPack System—a mobile, cordless electrostatic application system. The portable case is a hardened enclosure with an attachable harness, an interchangeable tank, a commercial grade precision pump, and lithium ion batteries. The batteries are rechargeable, interchangeable, and use smart technology to automatically shut down when there is 20% battery life left.

The BackPack System holds one gallon of water soluble liquid. This is filled with the user’s choice of product, including disinfectants, sanitizers, deodorizers, and cleaners. The unit can disinfect up to 100,000 square feet per hour delivering a precise, non-fogging, non-inhalation application. Users can apply the solution on every touchable surface with coverage to kill 99.999% of pathogens without wiping.

The BackPack System is suitable for infection control in offices, medical facilities, schools, daycares, food processing plants, and methods of transportation—anywhere mobility is critical. The handheld, trigger-activated applicator is made of impact-resistant, injection-molded composites. Users wear the applicator just like any backpack.
