CorrLube™ VpCI® Lithium EP Grease by Cortec® provides lubrication and corrosion protection for electrical connections. It is a lithium complex grease formulated with severely hydro treated base stock.
With high temperature stability, CorrLube VpCI Lithium EP Grease offers resistance to oxidation and is suitable for both operating and lay-up conditions. This lubricant’s formula is specifically designed with corrosion inhibiting properties against salt water, brine, H2S, HCl, and other corrosive agents. In addition, it incorporates Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitors (VpCI®) for areas not in direct contact with the grease.
CorrLube VpCI Lithium EP Grease delivers a cleaner application experience with decreased dripping and spattering. It lubricates for longer periods of time and increases the effectiveness of seals to keep out contaminants.
CorrLube VpCI Lithium EP Grease remains effective in extreme operating conditions (i.e., high temperature, high pressure, low speed/high pressure, and shock loading) and aids in the suspension of solid additives such as graphite, molybdenum, and disulfide. A thicker film consistency allows it to operate on worn parts, provide surface protection against movement, and reduce noise level.
CorrLube VpCI Lithium EP Grease can be used for lubrication and corrosion protection in applications that include metal-to-metal, lubricating sleeves, ball and roller bearings, vehicle/equipment chassis, fans, bushings, pulley bearings, sliding high-friction areas, and generator end bearings. It is especially useful for equipment that operates intermittently.
CorrLube VpCI Lithium EP Grease is amber in appearance with a smooth texture and can be applied by brush, grease gun, or automatic applicator. The temperature range is -22°F to 266°F. It is available in 14.5 ounce cartridges (10 per case), five gallon pails, and 55 gallons drums. Minimum storage temperature is 0°F and maximum storage temperature is 120°F.
