Discovering new products and services to improve operations is a boon to a facility manager. TFM’s December 2012 issue featured a number of products recently introduced by industry suppliers, and Anne Cosgrove, TFM’s Editor in Chief, spoke with some of these vendors about how their offerings are designed to help facility managers further their goals in 2013.
Howard Marson, vice president and general manager with EasyLobby, an HID Global business, discusses how the company’s EasyLobby Visitor Management Solution keeps facilities safe and secure. This computerized system provides comprehensive, enterprise-class visitor registration, badge printing, tracking, reporting, asset and package management, web-based pre-registration, and employee/contractor time and attendance.
Jim Kukla, marketing manager, discusses how the maker of gas and diesel generator sets has launched the Kohler Power Literature App for iPhone, iPad, and iPod—enabling facility managers to use their mobile devices to access technical data, white papers, and other offerings from any location.

This alternative approach to differential pressure flow measurement provides direct mass flow measurement without the need for temperature or pressure correction.

This service provides remote diagnostics on a facility’s fire alarm systems, providing faster service when needed as well as insight into the condition of equipment.
