IFMA’s 2011-2012 executive committee and board of directors were installed on July 1, 2011.

The goal of the event and others today is to promote facility management’s ideals worldwide, not only within the profession and industry, but also among governments and the general public.
June 23, 2011 marks World FM Day 2011. As part of this worldwide event, Staples Advantage encourages every employee to find some way to thank his or her fm, not just on this day, but every day for helping to make a safer, healthier, and happier work environment.
The two organizations have outlined plans to work together to promote facility management education, credentials, and research internationally.
The chapter was formed to promote the facility management profession and highlight educational opportunities available to facility professionals throughout the area. It joins 10 other IFMA chapters located in California.
IFMA has released its 2011 research report, “Facility Management Forecast – Exploring the Current Trends and Future Outlook for Facility Management.”
