Solatube Introduces SolaMaster 300 DS

This line of tubular daylighting devices is designed to provide enhanced light diffusion into interior spaces without light loss.

Solatube® International Inc., a manufacturer and marketer of Tubular Daylighting Devices, recently introduced the new 300 DS to its SolaMaster commercial product line. The SolaMaster 300 DS works on new construction or retrofit projects with no structural modifications needed with 16-inch on center framing. Solatube notes it is a good option for smaller or lower ceiling spaces and ideal for hard or suspended ceiling systems with 2-foot by 2-foot grid.

SolaMaster 300 DS from Solatube International

The SolaMaster 300 DS features new Spectralight Infinity with SoftLight Technology, providing enhanced light diffusion without light loss. This patented technology is designed to increase and improve visual comfort in bright, sunny conditions by manipulating the spread or beam of light coming down the tube, delivering natural daylight into an interior space.

Solatube invented tubular daylighting devices (also known as tubular skylights), which harvest and distribute daylight into commercial buildings and homes. Using patented technology, a Solatube Daylighting System harvests daylight at the rooftop, transfers it down a highly reflective tube (which bends up to 90 degrees and can be up to 70 feet or more long), and distributes it evenly into an interior space through a diffuser at the ceiling. The first Solatube product was sold in 1991.
