These instructors will begin to offer the Master Specialist Technician Program where the technician demonstrates their competency through hands on testing.

The technical nature of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems requires that a technician possess a great deal of knowledge and experience. Passing a written exam tells us that a technician possesses the knowledge to be competent, but not whether they can apply that knowledge. Experience and knowledge, coupled with hands-on performance testing, is the only way to prove mastery.
