CertainTeed Window Master Craftsman(TM) Installer Training, Professional Development Program Now Customized to Meet Regional Needs

CertainTeed Corporation’s Window Master Craftsman(TM) installation and education program has been redesigned to meet the specific and varying needs of window professionals across the country.

Unveiled recently, the new Window Master Craftsman product knowledge and installation guides are written to accommodate the differing installation practices of contractors throughout the country. The program’s curriculum consists of a manual and an online test for each of five regions. The content, which provides comprehensive window and patio door installation detail, is customized to emphasize the varying installation techniques of the Northwest/Mountain, Northeast, Southeast/Midwest, Southwest and South Central markets. Program manuals, tests, and details are available.

According to Maria McDonagh-Forde, Marketing Communications Manager for CertainTeed’s Window Group, “The new regionalized formats and rewards make the Window Master Craftsman program an exceptional professional development tool for industry professionals and a tremendous customer loyalty-building program for contractors nationwide.”

Professionals who complete the online course will receive rewards including a personalized job site sign to help grow their businesses, co-op funding for local advertising, and a CertainTeed golf shirt. They will also receive a lead-generating, free listing on www.certainteed.com, making it easy for homeowners to find skilled, local installers. In addition, CertainTeed will provide valuable tools for in-home presentations including a Certificate of Completion.

Industry professionals previously certified as Window Master Craftsmen are encouraged to take the revised online Window Master Craftsman test so they may take advantage of the new program’s benefits.

CertainTeed’s award-winning windows are fabricated in Auburn, Washington; Baltimore, Maryland; Boone, Iowa; Corona, California; Dallas, Texas; Lebanon, Indiana; Morgantown, Pennsylvania; New Britain, Connecticut; Richmond, Virginia; and West Sacramento, California.
