Since Friday is traditionally the day when FacilityBlog gets a little light hearted, here’s a new product from Toto that may blow your mind, that is, if you’re impressed by toilets. (Friday seems to be toilet day here too, but that’s another matter.)
Let’s see…where do we begin?
The CycloneSiphon Jet Flushing System. This flush has the equivalent strength of Power Gravity. It is a 3-stage flush: 1st, a swirling (cyclone) rim wash (1.5L). 2nd, a powerful siphon jet sends the waste through the trap (1.5L). 3rd, the bowl is cleaned and refilled by the swirling (cyclone) rim wash (3L). But when the Neorest is in “Auto Flush” mode, AND both the lid & seat have been up for more than six seconds, the toilet will flush only 1.2 gallons (versus 1.6).
Automatic Lid. The lid automatically opens as the user approaches and closes and flushes after use. When the individual leaves, the NEOREST automatically flushes and the lid automatically closes six seconds after user leaves sensor zone. With this convenient button-based, remote control luxury feature, one need never worry about forgetting to flush or close the lid.
Automatic Catalytic Air Purifier. The Power Catalytic Air Purifier function automatically engages when a user rises from the seat. This technologically-advanced feature effectively eliminates unpleasant odors. The NEOREST’s Automatic Power Deodorize may also be manually engaged at any time with the mere flip of a switch.
Seat Warmer and Washlet. The seat warms using variable temperature settings which can be set by the wireless remote. The “washlet” device offers three modes: front, rear, and soft. This gentle front-and back-aerated warm water spray can be regulated for preferred water pressure and temperature. There is also a warm air dryer.
Wireless LCD Panel. The wireless LCD panel gives the user complete control of all of the Neorest’s functions. The Neorest comes with a wireless remote control and all toilet and Washlet functions can be handled via the remote: motorized seat (up, down, temperature), water temperature, Cyclone flush, massage, oscillate, and change wand position.
SanaGloss Finish. The SanaGloss finish is designed to help maintain a hygienic environment. A smooth rim (no rim holes) makes it easy to clean with non-abrasive household cleaners.
Neorest can be used with existing plumbing, as long as there is a 12″ rough-in and the water supply is located approximately 11″ off center. It does not work with a 10″ or 14″ rough-in.
No special plumbing or wiring is needed. The water supply connection is standard 1/2″, and the unit plugs into a standard 120 volt AC (GFCI fused) outlet.
And that is one awesome toilet!
