This week’s question comes from the Facilities Management Group group on LinkedIn.
Is anyone aware of a standard for the public address system in a corporate building? Is a speaker necessary in every office, conference room, and washroom? Or is it only required in the large open areas?
This system is used for severe weather announcements and ALL CLEAR statements following evacuations, but it isn’t used for general announcements. It is strictly safety related.
I am getting different answers from different vendors. Thank you for your input and expertise.
