Discovering new products and services to improve operations is a boon to busy facility executives. The November/December 2015 issue of Facility Executive featured a number of products recently introduced, and Anne Cosgrove, Editor in Chief of the magazine, spoke with several of these vendors about how their offerings were designed to help facility management professionals further their goals in 2016 and beyond.
Ted Ardelean, Director of R&D Marketing for Canon Business Process Services (CBPS), describes the company’s corporate campus logistics services, and a recent survey involving Facility Executive readers. Services from CBPS focus on meeting and exceeding the needs of facility management professionals who are responsible for a wide range of campus services, including office, print, and mail services as well as warehouse inventory management.
Jian Ni, Chief Operating Office at Forest Lighting, discusses updates on the LED company’s activities related to commercial and institutional facilities. The company’s expanded product line includes A19 and BR lamps, downlights, and LED troffers — joining existing offerings beyond its T8 and T5 LED products.
Sean Lafferty who leads the LED Lighting Business Division at LG Electronics USA, describes several new offerings well-suited for facility management needs in 2016. In addition to introducing its Performance Line troffers and Sensor Connect line of fixtures, the company’s products utilize ZigBee wireless communications — enabling LG fixtures to be controlled by third-party controls systems.
