FM1300 OTTO by Fluidmesh Networks is a flexible, long-range wireless bridge. It is designed to create point-to-point links over 10 miles with a throughput up to 500 Megabits per second (Mbps) and up to 30 dBm of transmission power (depending on configuration and regulations). A metal enclosure shields against co-location interference.
The FM 1300 OTTO is designed and manufactured for backhauling mission-critical video, voice, and data. It features a 19 dBi integrated antenna for long distance links and an 802.3af PoE gigabit. FluidThrottle allows users to select only the amount of throughput required. More can be achieved by upgrading the system with software plug-ins when the traffic requirements increase.
The FM1300 OTTO works with the Fluidmesh Prodigy 2.0 Protocol and operates on both the 5150-5350 and 5470-5850 MHz frequency bands. This MPLS-based transmission is built to overcome the limits of standard wireless protocols. Its base provides a traffic optimization algorithm that allows every Fluidmesh radio to assign a specific level of priority and reliability to every packet transmitted. The result is a more reliable, multi service wireless infrastructure.
The FM 1300 OTTO includes the FMQuadro web interface that lets users configure, monitor, and troubleshoot the wireless network in real time. No additional software is required. To simplify the configuration of the wireless network, the radio has a built-in real-time bandwidth monitoring tool.
To facilitate installation, the FM 1300 OTTO has a 3/8″-18 NPT thread cable gland for conduit direct mounting. Visible LEDs help users understand the LAN activity and the strength of the signal. The wireless bridge has an IP67 rating, an operating temperature of -40°F to 167°F (5% to 95% humidity non-condensing), and comes with a standard two year warranty. Extended warranty options are available.
Suitable applications for the FM 1300 OTTO include long range links exceeding three miles without heavy dish, architecture where multiple radios are co-located (e.g., backhaul of point-to-multipoint), and backhaul of large networks at a data transfer rate over 150 megabits per second.
