The Wireless Bridge Kit provides users with a fast and easy way to install and manage ZKAccess door access control systems. It is for use with ZKAccess RFID and biometric door controllers.

wireless bridgeThe Wireless Bridge is a compact 2.4 GHz (up to 54 Mbps data rate) Wi-Fi kit designed to allow individual ZKAccess C3 and InBio door controllers to connect with wireless access points up to 300′ away when the door controllers are installed outdoors. Typical Wi-Fi ranges up to 150′ can be expected when the controllers are installed indoors. Range boosters are available upon request.

The Wireless Bridge Kit saves material costs and time by eliminating the need to run CAT5e/6 cable when connecting door controllers to the network. The wireless door controllers also operate seamlessly with ZKAccess traditional wired door controllers.

The Wireless Bridge Kit includes a PCB board, mounting plate, external antenna, and connecting wires. It can be installed inside the door controller’s metal enclosure.

Web-based (HTTP), the Kit supports IEEE 802.11g and has built-in web server—no software or drivers are needed. It provides resilience with low power consumption and up to 15kv electro static discharge protection. A power-on LED, Ethernet link LED, and signal strength LEDs offer user friendliness. For transparency, the Wireless Bridge appears to network devices as if an Ethernet cable is connecting the two network nodes. In addition, the Wireless Bridge Kit features password verification, MAC address authentication, SSID suppression, advanced WEP/WPA encryption, and Layer 2 isolation for security.
