Wattstopper, Lumenetix Partner On Advanced Digital Lighting Applications

Wattstopper, a product line of Legrand, has signed an exclusive license agreement with Lumenetix, a leader in tunable color technology, to combine capabilities to support advanced digital lighting applications. The agreement focuses on Lumenetix blanco™ tunable white technology, a subset of Lumenetix’s araya platform, which enables lighting fixture manufacturers and specifiers to address new market demands for high precision dimming and human centric lighting (HCL) systems.

The lighting industry is entering the next phase of LED innovation, moving beyond just energy efficiency and ease of control to new light functionality. Color control, circadian rhythm, and task tuning are emerging as specification requirements with growing opportunities in healthcare, higher education, retail, and residential.

The integration of expanded Lumenetix blanco solutions with Wattstopper Digital Lighting Management (DLM) and Architectural Dimming platforms and products, will offer the most robust digital lighting system available.
