Brass Knuckle BKCR4599 Protective Glove

Impact- and slip-resistant glove offers an HPPE CR level 4 shell

The SmartShell™ BKCR4599 from Brass Knuckle® safety products is a heavy-duty protective glove. It offers a broad spectrum of protection for extreme jobs, providing heavy-duty cut resistance, light oil and moisture resistance, non-tacky slip resistance, and shock-absorbing impact protection.

protective gloveOn the palm and fingers, the SmartShell BKCR4599 offers three layers of defense. The liner is an ultra-high-performance polyethylene (HPPE) and spandex composite that delivers strong cut resistance without bulk. HPPE knit is a lightweight, low-linting, high-performance fiber that provides ANSI cut level 4 protection and does not easily absorb liquids. Bonded to that first layer is a gray polyurethane (PU) fabric topped with a grippy nitrile surface—a barrier to light oil or other light liquid penetration. In critical areas of the palm, padding provides impact resistance. Finally, the back of the hand is loaded with sonically welded thermoplastic rubber (TPR) padding that easily counters workplace pounding, abrasion, contusions, punctures, and cuts.

The BKCR4599 is a very breathable, durable, and flexible high-end mechanic’s glove. Its construction combines fit, form, and function without sacrificing long wearing comfort and dexterity. The padding and coatings of the BKCR4599 are adjusted at flex points for ergonomics. Ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) padding in critical areas of the palm increases protection. A reinforced thumb crotch extends the glove life.

The SmartShell BKCR4599 features a neoprene cuff (2mm) with a hook-and-loop closure for a secure, stay-on fit. It also has a microfiber loop for latching or clipping gloves to tool belts.

The BKCR4599 protective glove is suited for a variety of industries, including assembly, agricultural, construction, aerospace, electric energy, engineering, forestry and logging, heavy equipment, machine operation, manufacturing, material handling, mining, metal handling, oil and gas drilling, packaging, refining, rigging and transportation. It is available in sizes eight, nine, 10, and 11 and comes in pack sizes of 12 pairs.
