Spring-loaded laundry carts from MODroto promote ergonomic positioning of linens, laundry, textiles, and other goods for easy, safe access to materials. The platform sinks down when loaded and rises up automatically as goods are removed to maintain proper work positioning, minimize bending and reaching, and support worker safety.
The spring-loaded laundry carts offer a choice of heavy- and light-duty springs to accommodate a variety of different loads without overbuying or underspecifying. Matching the ideal spring rate and load rate for the job, the spring-loaded carts may be designed to handle a wide range of heavy, wet laundry in process; light, dry linens; laundry falling from chutes; and bagged laundry conveyed through pneumatic systems.
Virtually any type of MODRoto laundry cart, container, utility cart, basket truck, or hamper may be offered with the spring-loaded platform. This signature, ergonomic spring platform is rotationally molded from 100% waterproof polyethylene plastic for wet or dry products. The spring mechanism is hidden under the platform to prevent contact with workers and linens. The platform is placed within a rugged, rotationally molded, plastic cart body, all set atop a durable base on industrial-strength, non-marking casters. An optional vinyl liner sized to each laundry cart may be added to ensure linens stay safely on top of the spring platform.
Spring-loaded laundry carts are suitable for use in commercial laundry plants and in on-premise laundries in hotels, resorts, hospitals, nursing homes, and other facilities. The springs and platform may be removed without tools for cart cleaning and washdown.
