The EME3625DFL from Ruskin® is a wind-driven rain-resistant stationary louver. It is the industry’s only 3″ louver with Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) 540 impact resistance.
Constructed of extruded aluminum for low maintenance and high resistance to corrosion, EME3625DFL is also AMCA 550-listed and is pending 2014 Florida Building Code approval.

The EME3625DFL’s closely spaced vertical blades prevent penetration of wind-driven rain, reducing damage and additional operating expenses. It features 45% free area, all-welded construction, and visible mullion construction.
The EME3625DFL frame and blades are 6063T6 extruded aluminum. The frame measures 3″ deep with a .062″ nominal wall thickness while the blades have a .040″ nominal wall thickness. Blades are mounted vertically and spaced approximately ¾” center to center. The 5/8″ x .040″ expanded, flattened aluminum screen in the removable frame adds approximately ½” to louver depth. The extended sill is .080″ formed aluminum with end dams.
Minimum EME3625DFL size is 12″ W x 12″ H. The maximum size of a single section can be 48″ x 96″. Lifting lugs provided on louvers measure 48″ x 72″ and larger. Louvers larger than the maximum factory assembly size will require field assembly of smaller sections.
Options for the EME3625DFL include filter racks and bird and insect screens as well as a selection of finishes: prime coat, 50% PVDF (modified fluoropolymer), epoxy, Pearle dize 50 and 70, 70% PVDF, clear and color anodize.
Published performance ratings for the EME3625DFL, including excellent pressure-drop performance, are based on testing in accordance with AMCA Publication 500L. The EME3625DFL comes with a limited five-year warranty from the date of delivery.
