Multipoint lock that can withstand tornado wind speeds and flying debris

The FE6600 Series from Corbin Russwin is an ANSI/BHMA A156.37 Grade 1 certified multipoint lock for inswing and outswing applications. It helps secure community shelters and safe rooms as well as 911 call stations and other facilities by withstanding tornado wind speeds and flying debris.

multipoint lockThe FE6600 Series offers the flexibility needed to accommodate a full range of door opening solutions, including electronic access control, with the reliability and durability needed for extreme conditions. Its center case adjustability feature simplifies installation and device adjustment.

The FE6600 Series utilizes a mortise lock, engineered to provide a full range of mechanical and electromechanical functions and options along with heavy-duty steel components and four latching points. Three latch points project automatically; the fourth latch point with a single motion. Concealed vertical assembly (rods, latches, and cassette) comes preinstalled on the multipoint lock and offers additional security, while an indicator option provides visual confirmation of security. A dogging option allows the device to operate as a standard mortise lock with a single latch point for everyday use; top and bottom rods are adjustable from the center case while the door is hung.

Multiple lock functions include classroom, electrified, and access control applications. Reversible strikes make installation easier and accommodate variability in opening and floor conditions. Its sectional trim comes with a wide variety of decorative levers, rose, and trim combinations.
