Envisage Backlit Mirrors from JESCO Lighting Group are suitable for use in restrooms as well as in corridors, lobbies, dining rooms, and hotel rooms. They are available in two energy-conserving choices: LEDs or T5 linear fluorescent light sources. Both have 3000K CCTs and provide abundant white light at very low wattage with long maintenance-free operating lives.
Envisage Backlit Mirrors are rectangular with evenly distributed white light, which creates a harmonious lighting effect. They are manufactured with a copper free process for resistance to humidity and corrosion and feature a white metal sub-assembly surface and frosted glass diffuser. Special diffusion and glazing of the glass makes light output more effective, optimizing viewer comfort. IP20 rated, the mirrors are constructed of steel, glass, and aluminum; mount over a standard J-box; and screw directly to drywall.
The BLML 211 30 Valerie, 212 30 Mabel, and 213 30 Rolland are cETLus listed LED backlit mirrors. Their drivers have an input voltage of 100V to 240V AC, 50/60Hz and an output voltage of 24V DC.
Valerie has two vertical cutouts and consumes 11 watts. It measures 27½” H x 19¾”W x 1-5/8″ D and weighs 28 pounds. The driver has an input current of 0.55A @ 115VAC and an output current of 0 ~ 0.84A.
Mabel has a rectangular cutout and consumes 27 watts. It measures 39″ H x 27½” W x 1-5/8″ D and weighs 53 pounds. The driver has an input current of 1.1A @ 115VAC and an output current of 0 ~ 1.5A.
Rolland has a rectangular cutout and consumes 38 watts. It measures 63″ H x 27½” W x 1-5/8″ D and weighs 86 pounds. The driver has an input current of 1.2A @ 115VAC and an output current of 0 ~ 2.5A.
The BLM 261 30 Herman and BLM 262 30 Maury are fluorescent backlit mirrors with two vertical cutouts. Linear fluorescents surround mirrored surfaces and are unseen behind white translucent glass borders. Both include the Energy Star rated and UL/CUL Class “P” listed Fulham NPY-120-214-LT5 ballast model. It has an input voltage of 110V to 120V AC, 50/60Hz; maximum case temperature of 167°F; rapid start; a minimum starting temperature of 14°F; a minimum operating temperature of 32°F; sound rating “A”; end of life (EOL) protection; and a power factor of >.5.
Herman features two fluorescent T5 lamps that are 14 watts for a total of 28 watts. It measures 27½” H x 19¾” W x 1-5/8″ D and weighs 27 pounds.
Maury has two fluorescent T5 lamps that are 14 watts and two fluorescent T5 lamps that are 21 watts for a total of 70 watts. It measures 39″ H x 27½” W x 1-5/8″ D and weighs 51pounds. In addition to the Fulham NPY-120-214-LT5, this backlit mirror also includes the Fulham NPY-120-221-LT5 ballast model.
Envisage Backlit Mirror models with LEDs have an average 50,000-hour life; the T5 linear fluorescents have an average life of 20,000 hours. Both are ADA compliant. Light placement behind the mirror makes cleaning easier and eliminates damage, breakage, or injury typical to exposed light sources.
JESCO has the ability to customize each mirror for use with any of its DL-FLEX LED strips. Choices range from standard to high light output, color temperatures from 2700 to 6000K, as well as color changing RGB. JESCO also has the ability to produce a color tuneable mirror that can tune white light from 2700K up to 6000K tailoring light to the planned event that day, users can tune a warm color temperature in preparation for a dinner in a romantic restaurant or tune a cool color temperature in preparation for a picnic in a park.
