Peter Pepper Nik Desk

A desk with a minimal design for various environments and applications

The Nik Desk from Peter Pepper Products was designed by Henner Jahns with a minimal design that complements a range of environments and applications. Easily arranged into desking applications or individual workstations, each retains its own rigidity and allows for simple scalability.desk

The Nik Desk includes a glass privacy screen, two dock plates, and two dock shelves. The two laterally adjustable dock shelves/universal charging trays attach to the glass privacy panel and hold tablets and smart phones for viewing and charging. They also slide side-to-side to act as bookends. An adjustable hinged wire management tray mounts under the work surface and conceals wires from view. Dock plates provide access to the cord management tray for power and USB charging. A wire channel fastens to either rear leg for concealing the power feed.

The Nik Desk features an optional drawer with steel construction concealed inside the hollow space under the work surface; it disappears entirely when closed. In addition, an optional Highlander work surface allows for work in the standing position. It attaches without hardware and adjusts from 41½” to 47½” high on the desk’s front edge within seconds. Highlander can be rotated 90° vertically to free up space and adds to privacy when not in use.

deskThe Nik Desk’s steel frame perimeter has a 2″ ergonomic edge and legs have adjustable glides. The desktop is laminate on ½” MDF and the privacy screen is ¼” D x 6″ H frosted white or gray tempered glass. Two hooks (one on each side of the desk) allow for hanging headphones and other accessories.

The Nik Desk is available in two sizes. The NIK48 measures 48″ W x 30″ H x 30″ D while the NIK60 measures 60″ W x 30″ H x 30″ D. Both have finishes that include a Bright White frame with a White, Maple, or Walnut top and a Black frame with a Black or Walnut top.
