The Museum of Illusions opened in New York City this week, treating visitors to a bounty of mind-bending illusions.

It’s a museum uniquely suited to the age of social media: New York City’s new Museum of Illusions opened this week, and its interactive optical and sensory illusions both educate and create perfect photo ops for sharing on Instagram and Facebook.

The permanent museum is suitable for all ages, and features dozens of interactive exhibits, including holograms, puzzles, and perspective-based illusions. The museum’s owners had previous success with similar installations throughout Europe before deciding to tackle Manhattan.

The Museum of Illusions is located on Eighth Avenue and is open from 9 am – 10 pm seven days a week.
