Board chair Graham Tier, CFM, FMP, MRICS, presented the accolades, and he said, “As we celebrate our industry, we are pleased to showcase five leading lights in FM who have not only created personal success, but through their achievements, have created opportunities for all of us to flourish,” said Tier.

Being named an IFMA Fellow is the highest honor members can earn within the association. Established in 1992, the Fellowship program recognizes lifetime contributions to the association and the facility management community. The IFMA Fellow nominating committee assesses professional experience and accomplishments, association involvement, and how candidates have enriched the profession.

IFMA Chair Citation 2018

In addition to the fellows, each year, IFMA’s chair may elect to recognize individuals for significant contributions to the association and the FM community. Chair Citations honor the behind-the-scenes leadership, hard work, selfless actions and exceptional accomplishments of those who help drive IFMA’s success.

This year, Tier recognized Maureen Ehrenberg, FRICS, CRE, for her impact on the future of FM as a champion of IFMA’s landmark collaboration with RICS, saying, “Her prominence as a visionary and advocate for the advancement of new ideas in the worlds of both FM and real estate is well known.
