Wash Down LED for Food Processing

G&G’s corrosion-resistant FPX fixture is capable of withstanding high-temperatures and high-pressure during daily sanitization processes.

The FPX Linear Wash Down LED Luminaire from G&G Industrial Lighting is designed for task lighting in food processing. It is an IP69K-rated, corrosion-resistant fixture capable of withstanding high-temperature, high-pressure wash down during daily sanitization processes. A rounded top allows for water and debris to easily roll off.wash down LED

Available in 4′ and 8′ lengths, the FPX has a standard output of 1,875 lumens per foot and a high output of 2,500 lumens per foot. It achieves an efficiency of more than 130 lumens per watt and delivers 290 foot-candles at 3′ with a CRI of 90+ (standard CRI is 85+), exceeding inspection regulations for food processing. The low profile 2½” housing is NSF rated and meets all USDA lighting requirements for food processing, providing up to 20,000 lumens. This wash down LED features 4000K and 5000K color temperatures, an input voltage of 120-277 VAC, and a seamless copolyester outer shell that offers IP69K ingress protection (1500 PSI) along with extreme chemical resistance.

“The FPX was a natural integration into our portfolio as G&G has always focused on engineering products specifically for harsh environments,” says Cory Baright, Vice President of Operations. “Not only is the FPX one of the most robust and rugged LED fixtures for task lighting, it’s also the highest performing and we are proud to provide our customers with a high-quality solution for this application.”

The FPX has an ambient temperature range of -4°F to 140°F with standard output and a range of -4°F to 122°F with high output. Lamp life (L70) is 140,000 hours at 77°F. The wash down LED comes with a cable/chain mount (actual cable/chain not included); a Surface Mount Kit is optional and includes two stainless steel band mounts. Other options include 0V to 10V dimming and a built-in emergency battery backup.

All G&G luminaires and components (with the exception of LED boards and drivers) are manufactured and assembled in the USA.
