Every day facility management professionals are making a significant impact on their organizations — and the scope of this work continues to expand further and in new directions. In 2003, Facility Executive magazine (then Today’s Facility Manager) launched its annual Facility Executive of the Year Award as one way to recognize these individuals, beyond the stories covered in the magazine year-round. (Read about the first award recipient here, Kelly Olds of Omaha, NE-based West Corporation – now Intrado.)
Now in its 18th year, the facility management award recognizes one facility management professional for his or her work on one of the following:
- Strategic initiative that is effecting real change for the facilities they oversee — and their organizations overall
- Major renovation or new construction project
- Other high-impact program
The Facility Executive staff looks forward to recognizing another industry member with the award in the magazine’s February 2020 issue.
