Control Basic Block Editor By KMC Controls

KMC Controls has released its Control Basic Block editor, introducing block programming to its KMC BACnet Controllers.

KMC Controls, a leader in building automation and IoT solutions, has released its Control Basic Block editor, introducing block programming to its KMC BACnet Controllers.

KMC ControlsThe Control Basic Block editor provides a simple drag-and-drop interface to program BACnet Controllers. By avoiding many of the pitfalls of text-based line programing, block programming eliminates the need to learn line-coding and reduces the chance of syntax errors while programming. By giving system integrators more choices, they will be able to train and retain technical employees easier. The platform is also very flexible and robust. Create your own series of blocks or choose from a selection of routines, preprogrammed units of blocks that perform a certain task.

The introduction of Control Basic Block editor to the KMC software lineup further instills KMC’s commitment to providing system integrators and building owners with open, secure, and scalable solutions from single-building to enterprise-level installations. Block programming is now available for the following KMC Conquest® products: BAC-5901, BAC-9001, BAC-9021, BAC-9301 & BAC-9311. It’s also supported in Connect, Total Control and Niagara.

“We’ve been working on this for a while now, and we’re very excited to finally bring this much anticipated solution to our customers, giving them more freedom and choice,” said Erich Kreuter, VP of Product Development.
