RX Scentinel Series Cabinets from Airx Laboratories, a division of The Bullen Companies, are designed to fit RX microcell products to disperse odor counteractant and eliminate odors. With both active and passive cabinet designs, Scentinel, Scentinel Jr., and Scentinel Desktop can help control odor in a variety of situations.
In simplified terms, odors float in the air as molecules. When breathed in, these molecules reach the nasal cavity which contains thousands of hair-like antennae called cilia that receive these molecules and trigger impulses to the brain identifying the smell. Airicide® links with the foul odor and changes the shape of the molecule so it is no longer perceived as a foul odor. Airicide is in every Airx product.
RX Air Care Microcells include the RX17 and RX19. Packed 12 per box (six boxes per master case), RX17s are available in Airicide, Lemon, and Herbal Fusion. Packed eight per box (six boxes per master case), RX19s are available in Airicide, Lemon, Herbal Fusion, Mountain Mist, Blue Skies, and Aquatic Mist.
Each fragrance not has Airicide Odor Control. Airicide is effective against smoke, sewage, and garbage odors. The fragrance is not identifiable and is universally liked. Lemon is best for fish odors and smoke. It creates a clean and energizing atmosphere known to improve productivity. Mountain Mist reminds customers, employees, and others of a hike in the mountains. Aquatic Mist reminds people of the seashore, the ocean, and fun. The Blue Skies fragrance note will bring back memories of a walk in the park on a nice sunny day. Herbal Fusion is clean, crisp, and fresh with a harmonious balance between herbal and citrus vibrancy.
RX Scentinel Cabinets are designed to fit RX19E microcells to disperse odor counteractant and eliminate odors. They feature an easy to load tray for mounting the RX19E microcells and will hold up to three RX19E microcells. One size D battery will power the cabinet for 60 days of continuous use. A locking key, mounting template, instructions, and hardware included.
RX Scentinel JR Cabinets are no fan/passive cabinets that hold one RX19E microcell. Packed 12 per case, they are suitable for small areas where there is natural air movement, like the back of a door or in a hallway. The 30 day life of the RX19E microcells offer an inexpensive passive method of odor control.
The RX Scentinel Desktop is a personal size/compact Scentinel cabinet that uses one RX17. Packed one per box, it offers a continuous way to control odor for 30 days with one D battery.
