Almost everyone has heard that today, May 1, has been “unofficially/officially” dubbed “Day Without Immigrants.” Organizers of the event have asked immigrant workers to show solidarity in a variety of ways, including student walkouts, worker rallies, and business boycotts. Cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York will certainly experience some impact–whether it be dramatic or subtle–but how are your facilities responding or being influenced?
