Every year, architects and engineers compete to see which team can build the most spectacular structure using little more than cans of food at Canstruction, an annual design and build competition in New York City. After the competition is over, the cans are donated to a charitable food bank.
The exhibit runs from 11/10/2011 to 11/21/2011, and it’s on display at the
World Financial Center Winter Garden from 10 am to 6 pm daily. The public is invited to bring canned foods to donate to City Harvest when viewing the exhibition.
