Do swarms of teenagers on your facility’s property irritate you?
Now there’s a new way to irritate them enough to make them leave. North American Video, a security systems integrator, has signed an agreement to distribute the Mosquito Ultrasonic Teenager Deterrent Device.
The Mosquito MK II M85 is a non-invasive, ultrasonic device that has been designed specifically to disperse groups of teenagers who may be loitering in areas where they could prove to be a nuisance. The device produces a signal that is audible only to teenagers. Because of natural hearing loss, those near or over 30 years of age will be unaware of the noise.
Although the sound is not painful, it does become highly irritating after five to ten minutes of exposure, and teens tend to leave the immediate area. The system, which has an effective range of about 50 feet, is safe even after prolonged exposure.
This product has already been proven successful overseas, where hordes of underage Europeans have been driven from their favorite dark corners.
