The Litepak LNC3 from Hubbell Outdoor Lighting is a medium Litepak wallpack that completes the company’s Litepak wall mount family. It is designed for perimeter illumination safety, security, and identity in new construction and retrofit applications, including schools, factories, hospitals, warehouses, and retail.
At 7,600 lumens, the Litepak LNC3 features luminaires with TIR optics; a 3000K, 4000K, or 5000K CCT; a 70 CRI; and Type II, III, and IV IES distributions for maximum light level and mounting height flexibility. It is capable of replacing up to 250 watt HID solutions at more than 70% energy savings with luminaire spacing of up to five times the mounting height.
The LNC3 has 120-277V, 50/60Hz, 0V to 10V dimming drivers with optional 347V and 480V. Drive current is 500mA, 750mA, or 1050mA. A COB unit is also available with Type IV distribution only in 4000K and 5000K CCT.
The LNC3 has a die-cast aluminum housing that protects components. Casting thermally conducts LED heat to optimize performance and long life. The powder paint finish in bronze, black, white, gray, platinum, or custom colors adds durability in outdoor environments while four ½” conduit entries (top, bottom, and sides) are provided for surface conduit. A quick-mount adapter with gasket seal offers easy installation to a wall or a recessed junction box (4″ square junction box). The wallpack attaches by two Allen-head hidden fasteners for tamper resistance. It is designed for direct j-box mount or conduit feed on all four sides in single SKU.
Options for the LNC3 include button photo control for dusk to dawn energy savings, a seven-pin receptacle for twist lock photocell and controls (by others), occupancy sensor options for complete on/off and dimming control, a frosted acrylic diffuser that reduces surface brightness and glare with a roughly 20% lumen reduction, and battery backup for egress application.
The Litepak LNC3 mid-sized housing measures 13″ x 10½” x 8.3″ and weighs 18 pounds. It is IP65 and wet location listed with optional inverted “up” mounting configuration. Ambient operating temperature is -40°F to 104°F.
