IPMI Announces New Board Of Directors

Members of the International Parking & Mobility Institute include garage owners/operators, architects, city managers, government agencies, health care centers, universities, airports, and convention centers.

The International Parking & Mobility Institute (IPMI) recently announced its new Board of Directors, including the new IPMI Chair David Onorato, CAPP, executive director, Pittsburgh Parking Authority. Onorato will serve a two-year term. Current Chair Roamy Valera, CAPP, CEO North America, PaybyPhone, Miami will continue to serve on the board as past chair.parking

Formerly the International Parking Institute, IPMI is a global association of professionals in parking, transportation, and mobility. Members include garage owners and operators, architects, city managers, government agencies, health care centers, universities, airports, and convention centers.

Five new IPMI Board members to serve during the next two years are:
Jaime Lopez de Aguilar, president, Setex Group, Zurbano, Spain; Alejandra “Alex” Argudin, CAPP, Chief Operations Officer, Miami Parking Authority; Chris Austin, CAPP, director, parking and transportation services, University of Buffalo, NY; Pam Corbin, CAPP, parking administration and planning manager, City of Orlando, FL; and Robert Ferrin, assistant director for parking services, City of Columbus Dept. of Public Service, Columbus, OH.

During the spring elections, the three current Board members re-elected to serve through June 2021 were:
Bridgette Brady, CAPP, director of transportation services, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY; Temitope Longe, specialist, Contract Performance Management Parking Division, Integrated Transport Centre, Abu Dhabi; and Gary Means, CAPP, executive director, Lexington & Fayette County Parking Authority, Lexington, KY.
