ISOThe Building People received its certificate of registration for ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 for demonstrating its ability to provide quality, environmental, proposal, contracts, and accounting management on its government contracts for real estate and asset management services. The scope of the certification ensures that The Building People’s program management office follows the highest quality processes and procedures in support of the services provided to the portfolio of clients.

ISO 9001:2015 delineates standards for a quality management system. The standard is based on quality management principles, such as strong customer focus, motivation, and involvement of top management, use of a process approach and continual improvement. The standards help ensure customers get consistent and good quality products and services.

ISO 14001:2015 sets standards for an effective environmental management system. Using this standard can provide assurance that environmental impact is measured and improved.

“This recognition is an important milestone for The Building People,” said Jorie Fields, operations manager at the firm. “Achieving these certifications was a rigorous process, and our success shows that we are truly dedicated to best practices, high quality and continuous improvement.”
