After an electrical fire damaged the facility, IKO, the SoCal Council of National Women in Roofing (NWiR), and several industry partners, worked together to provide a new roof for the building.
Since 2002, IRN has placed more than 40 million pounds of surplus with charities. Apart from environmental and social benefits, the cost of placing surplus for reuse is typically 20% to 40% less than the cost of throwing the same material in dumpsters.
