The World Economic Forum recognized LG Electronics for the innovative digital transformation of its Changwon, South Korea appliance manufacturing facility.
LG Electronics is developing an autonomous robot that will use ultraviolet (UV-C) light to disinfect high-touch, high-traffic areas and will be available to customers in early 2021.
The company is a member of a partnership that helped to build and outfit the Growing Green Center, a project of the nonprofit Parks & People Foundation.
