ThermoSteel™ from KNAACK® is a jobsite storage box engineered to keep supplies at optimal temperatures. Designed specifically for contractors working in cold environments, the heated storage unit saves money, reduces downtime, and prevents damage to tools and materials due to cold temperatures.
Users plug in the ThermoSteel heating element when jobsite temperatures drop below 40° to ensure supplies are safe from extreme temperatures. ThermoSteel is also built with the traditional KNAACK® storage box features, including security, durability, and productivity.
ThermoSteel heated storage is available on four KNAACK storage chests: 79-H, 79-DH, 89-H, 89-DH. All models include a TOOL KAGE™ door and thermal blanket to help keep everything at the optimal temperature (i.e., adhesives, paints, batteries, and safety gear). In addition, some models have Junk Trunk™ Quick Access Drawers—heavy-duty independent locking drawers that make for quick access to needed tools and accessories, and a raised chest floor so contractors can reach and find any tools at the bottom of the chest without having to search or overreach.
The 79-H STORAGEMASTER® Piano Box with ThermoSteel™ measures 49″H (78″ open height) x 30″W x 48″L, weighs 300 pounds, and has a capacity of 36.2 cu ft.; the 79-DH STORAGEMASTER® Piano Box with Junk Trunk™ and ThermoSteel™ measures 49″H (78″ open height) x 30″W x 48″L, weighs 420 pounds, and has a capacity of 38.2 cu ft.; 89-H STORAGEMASTER® Piano Box with ThermoSteel™ measures 49″H (78″ open height) x 30″W x 60″L, weighs 350 pounds, and has a capacity of 43.8 cu ft.; and the 89-DH STORAGEMASTER® Piano Box with Junk Trunk™ and ThermoSteel™ measures 49″H (78″ open height) x 30″W x 60″L, weighs 530 pounds (shipping), and has a capacity of 47.8 cu.ft.
All models fit in the width of a full-size truck bed and include full-width shelves for organization of tools and supplies, a bi-fold cover which folds completely out of the way for unrestricted access, extra durable heavy-duty hinges that resist pry-ins, and a powder-coat finish for durability and corrosion resistance. When covers are closed, the chests can be used as work tables.
THERMOSTEEL features security with the WATCHMAN IV® Lock system for independent locking of both the chest and Junk Trunk quick access drawers; mobility with optional 6″ wheel casters, four-way skid access, and recessed side handles; and piano box lids supported with dual gas struts to assist in opening the box lid.
