Ralph Linne, the 2016 Facility Executive of the Year, is Director of Facilities for Hamilton County, Ohio, a position he has held since January, 2001. Prior to this position, Linne served as Facilities Services Manager for BOCC of Cuyahoga County Ohio. He has more than 25 years of facilities management experience, as well as over 35 years of construction management experience.
In Hamilton County, Linne is responsible for an organization that maintains facilities composed of over 3.5 million square feet with two division heads reporting to him. This organization has 69.5 employees and over 100 outsourced positions with a 2016 operations budget of $13.4 million. He is presently responsible for the design and construction of the new $53 million Crime Lab for the County.
Mr. Linne holds a Master’s in Business Administration, a Bachelor’s of Science in Construction Management, and an Associate in Applied Science in Architecture. He completed the Public Sector Leadership Program from Xavier University. He also is a Certified Project Manager (CPM), along with being certified at Level III in Homeland Security and Level I as a Building Operator.
Mr. Linne is the County’s representative on the CCAOSO Executive Board and belongs to various professional organizations as they relate to his current position: International Facility Management Association, Building Owners and Managers Association, Society for Public Administration, County Facilities Managers Association, American Corrections Association, National Safety Council, and Ohio Public Facilities Maintenance Organization.
Mr. Linne was selected as the 2016 Facility Executive of the Year by Facility Executive magazine.
