Managed by Q, the office management platform, has announced its acquisition of NVS, a national provider of office space planning and project management. Headquartered in New York City, the NVS team will be joining Managed by Q to form a Project Management division for Q’s thousands of client offices.
Managed by Q was founded in 2014 with the vision of building the operating system for offices, and today provides firms ranging from high growth startups to Fortune 500 companies with turnkey office operations. By aggregating office services such as cleaning, maintenance, IT, security, and administrative staffing on one platform, Q helps to simplify office management. With the acquisition, Q will also make it easier to plan and build office spaces.

Nobody gets into business to run an office, but everybody has to do it,” Teran explained. “Even the most experienced office managers have only been through one or two office build outs, we’ve done it hundreds of times with a track record of delivering on time and under budget – we’re excited to share that with our customers.”

NVS has helped plan and manage workspaces for nearly 100 corporate clients nationally, including CBS Radio, the NBA Players Association, Glossier, Grovo, and Intent Media. Havens will be joining the Q team as Senior Director and Head of Project Management.
This is the second acquisition for Managed by Q, which acquired French software company, Hivy, in August of 2017.
