The National Association of Security Companies (NASCO), a trade organization representing the interests of contract-security firms with members employing more than 400,000 security officers, announces the launch of its interactive job board, the NASCO Contract Security Career Center.
The NASCO Contract Security Career Center offers individuals and the security industry as a whole a free, easy to use, and highly targeted resource for online employment connections. It is the only online employment center exclusively dedicated to serving the employment needs of the contract-security community.
“We’re very pleased to offer the industry the NASCO Contract Security Career Center because we know how critical it is for employers in contract security to attract first-rate talent with a minimum expenditure of time and resources,” said Joseph Ricci, Executive Director of NASCO. “It’s also important that NASCO is there to better facilitate smooth career transitions
for those seeking long-term positions in security, which is one of the fastest growing job sectors in the U.S. economy.”
The NASCO Contract Security Career Center provides access to employers and jobs in the contract-security industry both members and non-members can use NASCO’s Career Center to reach qualified candidates. Employers can post jobs online and, by accessing individual’s resumes, can search for qualified candidates based on specific job criteria.
Job seekers can create online “agents” that will email new job opportunities daily to qualified candidates. In addition to posting resumes, job hunters can browse and view available positions based on their personal search criteria and then save those jobs for later review. NASCO will also provide real time job-activity statistics as an online aid for applicants.
