College campuses are changing. Those cramped and dingy dorm accomodations that most graduates remember may be a thing of the past. According to Gary Robertson, a Times-Dispatch Columnist:

“In 2006, new construction on campus rose 18%, according to Reuters. Some of the construction is in preparation for the biggest wave of high school students in history — 3.2 million — who are expected to hit classrooms in 2009.”

Other construction is aimed at the providing the increasingly luxurious accommodations that many college students and their parents expect in return for sky-high tuition.”
