Schneider Electric and PlanetRisk have partnered to offer facilities and communities an improved weather service offering through collaboration and shared resources.
Planet Risk is incorporating Schneider Electric’s weather forecast information into its Advanced Intelligence Management System™ (AIMS). A geospatial platform, AIMS provides facility management and other stakeholders the ability to mitigate risk through transforming vast amounts of complex, open source, and proprietary data into actionable intelligence. Assets are visualized on a single screen and monitored in real-time, monitoring facilities, employees, products, and suppliers.
AIMS integrates the functions of business continuity, situational awareness, risk management and communications; includes 24/7 global incident monitoring by trained analysts; and consolidates information to provide the operational insight needed to identify and mitigate risk.
With this new partnership, PlanetRisk clients are able to visualize severe weather affecting their communities directly within AIMS. The integration of Schneider Electric weather ensures quality intelligence, as the company’s forecasts have been independently rated the industry’s most accurate by ForecastWatch for nine consecutive years.
