4570 CLOBBER from QuestSpecialty Corporation is a multipurpose insect spray. It is for use in areas such as hotels/motels, airports, barns and livestock areas, and kennels to kill various crawling and flying insects.
EPA registered, CLOBBER is a water-based aerosol that contains the synthetic pyrethroid permethrin. Permethrin is a broad spectrum insecticide, a chemical used to kill a variety of insects. It is referred to as a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide because, while manmade, it resembles naturally-occurring chemicals with insecticidal properties, called pyrethroids. Pyrethroids are synthetic chemicals that act like natural extracts from the chrysanthemum flower.
The active ingredient Permethrin offers quick knockdown and up to four weeks residual control of crawling and flying insects.
The non-staining, odorless 4570 CLOBBER formula kills and controls lice, bed bugs, dust mites, fruit flies, cockroaches, mosquitoes, crickets, spiders, scorpions, fleas and ticks, houseflies, gnats, black flies, carpet beetles, clothes moths, palmetto bugs, silverfish, centipedes, garden insects, and more.
4570 CLOBBER kills dust mites in carpets, curtains, and on upholstery and mattresses and kills lice and their eggs on mattresses, furniture, car interiors, and other non-washable items. Permethrin works by paralyzing and killing lice and their eggs/nits. It is also for use on dogs and on premises to control fleas and ticks; on livestock to control flies, fleas, and gnats; in animal quarters and milk houses; and controls garden insects on ornamentals and plants.
4570 CLOBBER multipurpose insect spray is milky colored and has 15% VOC content and a pH level of 6.5 to 7.0. Flash point is >200°F and it can be stored for one year.
