The Revolution Ladder Type 1A by Little Giant Ladder Systems® is an adjustable safety ladder. Available in 17′, 22′, and 26′ models, it has a 300 pound weight rating and can be used on stairs, ramps, curbs, docks, or other uneven surfaces. The Tip & Glide™ wheels make for easy transport from job to job.
The Revolution Ladder Type 1A is made using LiteWave™ aluminum technology. This is the same material used in aerospace construction, making it ultra-strong yet light and portable. In addition, optional ratchet levelers can be installed at the factory for up to 8.5″ of leveling adjustment on each leg. Users push the levelers with their toe for a simple, stable setup. The levelers add three pounds per leg to the total ladder weight.
The Revolution Ladder Type 1A features a redesigned Quad-Lock™ hinge system. It locks into place with four pins instead of two for increased stability and overall safety. Further, a redesigned Rock Lock™ system makes adjusting the ladder quick and easy. Users push the lock to release, adjust the ladder, and then tap to lock.
The Revolution Ladder Type 1A can be used in various configurations. With a click of the patented hinge, it can be used as a traditional A-Frame ladder. Because it is adjustable in 1′ increments, one side of the ladder can be extended for use on uneven surfaces like staircases, curbs, or docks. In addition, one adjustment allows users to safely work against any vertical surface (90° ladder). For large projects the ladder converts to a stable extension ladder so users can reach rooftops and tree limbs.
Two trestle brackets are included with the Revolution Ladder Type 1A to convert it into secure scaffolding trestles. This makes a suitable companion to the work plank accessory (sold separately).
