Sarnafil Inc. Announces Name Change

Sarnafil Inc., a manufacturer of thermoplastic roofing and waterproofing systems, announces a name change to Sika Sarnafil Inc. Sarnafil was purchased by Sika AG of Baar Switzerland at the end of 2005.

“The new name is reflective of the new ownership and business strategy to take advantage of the resources that Sika brings to bear without changing the corporate culture and commitment to high quality products that you have come to expect from us,” said Brian Whelan, president & CEO of Sika Sarnafil Inc. “The people, products and company philosophy remain the same and the Sarnafil brand remains the standard for high quality thermoplastic membranes. The acquisition by Sika brings new technologies and resources to our roofing and waterproofing businesses. This will allow us to continue to lead the industry with innovative systems to meet our customers’ needs.”
