Schneider Electric Enhances EcoStruxure Building Offering

Additions to the company's IoT open platform for buildings in 2019 include EcoStruxure Workplace Advisor and Connected Room Solution.

Schneider Electric, a leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, has announced the next generation of its EcoStruxure™ Building portfolio. The open IoT platform helps building owners, facility managers, and real estate professionals improve the value of their buildings through improved occupant engagement, efficiency, and sustainability. Additionally, new commissioning tools will ease the deployment process for system integrators.IoT platform

EcoStruxure Building additions in 2019 to include the following:

EcoStruxure Workplace Advisor: A suite of digital services for the workplace offering occupancy and well-being analytics, a mobile occupant application to improve building occupants’ engagement and productivity, and enable facility managers to optimize space better.

Connected Room Solution: The next evolution of Smart X IP Controllers, RPC, will empower users to better control their environments with the ability to interface with the HVAC system through their mobile device. The eCommission SmartX Controllers mobile application, available with the Connected Room Solution, will enable technicians and electricians to more efficiently perform commissioning, flow balance, and checkout operations.

EcoStruxure Security Expert: The latest addition to Schneider Electric’s building security portfolio is a scalable, IT-friendly solution that integrates existing security systems within one platform, providing one-stop access control and intrusion detection from purpose-built field controllers, RFID Smartcard Reader technology, and application software.

EcoStruxure Building Operation 3.0: Will provide an enhanced mobile-friendly user interface, a convenient dashboard experience, and further engineering efficiency for partners including enhanced controller configurations, and new reporting functions for enhanced data insights.
