The Series R® RTWD water-cooled chiller for commercial and industrial buildings is now available for customers in North America and the Middle East who are seeking systems with lower global warming potential.

Trane’s Series R® RTWD water-cooled chiller for commercial and industrial buildings is now available for customers in North America and the Middle East who are ready to transition to systems with lower global warming potential (GWP).

water-cooled chillerThe Series R RTWD chiller, available in 80-250 tons, delivers energy efficiency coupled with ease of installation, application flexibility, and high reliability. These chillers can operate with a choice of R-134A or Opteon™ XP10 (R-513A), a next-generation, low-GWP refrigerant from Chemours. With an infinite unloading compressor design, wide operating temperature range, heat-recovery options up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit, advanced controls and high efficiencies, these chillers can be the perfect choice for tight temperature control in almost any application.
