System Galaxy v10.5 from Galaxy Control Systems is an update to System Galaxy, a complete, enterprise-class access control and security management solution. The flexible platform is appropriate for business, commercial, industrial government, healthcare, education, transportation, and other organizations. New features include integration capability with KONE elevator products and ASSA ABLOY DSR IP-enabled locks as well as updated support for OnSSI’s Ocularis SDK.

The new integration of System Galaxy v10.5 with KONE Elevator control systems increases security while improving people flow. Galaxy Control Systems provides the card readers, access control computer, and network infrastructure while KONE supplies the elevator group controllers and control panel as well as space for installing card readers. A TCP/IP interface makes installation easy.
Utilizing a Java-based web service called Door Service Router (DSR), ASSA ABLOY DSR IP-enabled locks can quickly and efficiently communicate with System Galaxy for real-time monitoring without the need for additional door controllers.
In addition, updated support for OnSSI Ocularis VMS now ensures integration and availability of the latest features and functions.
