Yale 6100A Series Emergency Exit Device

Panic hardware certified device engineered to enhance loss prevention

The 6100A Series Emergency Exit Device from Yale Commercial, an ASSA ABLOY group company, is ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1-certified and UL/cUL panic hardware certified. It works seamlessly with a complete range of Yale exit device trims.

The 6100A Series Emergency Exit Device has a durable aluminum rail design and a built-in 9V battery-powered alarm that sounds 90dB at 10′. It is armed by turning the key clockwise and a low audible chirp indicates that the alarm has been activated. A red LED flashes every 30 seconds when the device is armed. The device is factory preset for standard alarm mode which automatically resets after five minutes.

The 6100A Series Emergency Exit features a 10 second delay (after arming) permitting egress (by turning key clockwise) and an ingress shunt alarm input for devices with a latch bolt position (S) monitor (“S” included with SVR devices).

A secure rim latch protects the 6100A Series Emergency Exit Device from vandalism with a built-in safety monitor that sounds when tampering occurs. A heavy-duty, cast zinc end cap with angled design protects the rail, eliminates catch points, and reduces damage.

The 6100A Series Emergency Exit Device is quick and easy to install with five screws needed to mount it to the door. Suitable for retrofit applications, it conceals existing door preps of most other exit devices. The 6100A Series Emergency Exit Device is engineered to enhance loss prevention in any retail or restaurant setting and comes standard with a 10 year warranty

The Yale 6100A Series Emergency Exit Device is being presented this week at NRF Protect, North America’s largest retail and restaurant loss prevention event.
