ZKAccess, a division of ZKTeco and provider of biometric and RFID security solutions, announced the integration of its ZKBioSecurity software with C2P (ConvergenceTP, Inc), a provider of video event integration.
ZKBioSecurity is an “All in One” web based security platform. It contains four integrated modules: access control, video linkage, elevator control, and visitor management. With an optimized system architecture designed for high-level biometric identification and a modern-user friendly interface, the ZKBioSecurity management software provides an advanced solution for a whole new user experience.
With the C2P integration, customers using a single interface can now search and report upon ZKBioSecurity access events, which are time synchronized with VMS surveillance video. Currently supported ZKBioSecurity software VMS integrations include OnSSI, Milestone, and Mirasys, with more to follow later this year.
The combined ZKAccess and C2P solution has many other useful features, including user-defined real-time event alerts and a text–to-video search engine that includes a choice of video or Excel export capability of the search results.
As noted by ZKAccess CEO Larry Reed, system integration is the key in improving organizational efficiencies and thereby lowering operational costs.
“By providing our customers a single user interface in which they can search for time-synchronized door access and video events, we can reduce our customers’ valuable time spent analyzing security breaches. The simplicity of our ZKBioSecurity platform is that after customers complete its setup, they seldom need to touch our software again. If the customer later wishes to analyze a suspected security breach, the C2P database contains all the customers’ door access time stamps and video recording. Our customers will find using C2P to be a huge time-saver, simple to use and extremely cost-effective.”
ZKBioSecurity supports up to 8,000 doors for multi-servers and 2,000 doors for a single server. It features global anti-passback and linkage, data auto-backup, zone control, and alarms and events e-mail notifications. The management software requires a PC monitor with resolutions of 1024 x 768 or above, a Pentium Dual-Core Processor or above, 2 GB of ram, and 10 GB of free storage space (NTFS recommended).
