AeraMax Pro AM III Air Purifier

The AeraMax Pro AM III is a commercial grade air purifier that allows for efficient and low-maintenance operation with a coverage area of 300 to 700 square feet.

The AeraMax® Pro AM III from AeraMax® Professional is a commercial grade, five-speed air purifier. Patented EnviroSmart™ technology responds to the environment, allowing for efficient and low-maintenance operation with a coverage area of 300 square feet to 700 square feet.

air purifierThe AeraMax Pro AM III cleans the air in four steps. First, a pre-filter captures and removes large particles and contaminants. Carbon filtration then adsorbs odors and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Next, True High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filtration traps 99.97% of any remaining airborne pollutants (as small as 0.3 microns); AeraSafe ™ antimicrobial treatment on the HEPA effectively reduces the development of bacteria and fungi on the filter. And finally, PlasmaTrue™ Bipolar Ionization electrically charges airborne particles to enhance filtration.

The PlasmaTrue bipolar ionizer creates an ionized field to help safely remove airborne pollutants. It produces clusters of positive and negative (bipolar) ions. These charged ions are dispersed into the air; they electrically charge airborne particles so that they attach to nearby surfaces and to one another, and settle faster. Charging and clustering airborne particles enhances removal by filtration. Also, the ions react with oxygen and water vapor present in the air to create free radicals. The free radicals, in turn, can create chemical changes. For example, they damage microorganisms (e.g., bacteria, viruses, and molds) and break down odors and VOCs.

air purifierThe AeraMax Pro AM III EnviroSmart sensors detect sound, motion, and odor to assess a room’s occupancy and condition. They monitor air quality and adjust the fan speed to keep air purified. Blue, amber, and red lights indicate level of air purity. There are two primary sensor controlled operation modes: Normal Mode and Quiet Mode.

Normal Mode is suitable for louder areas such as restrooms, cafeterias, and fitness centers. Upon selection, the air purifier will operate through its full range of speeds in order to clean the room of contaminants as quickly as possible. The fan can reach turbo speed in the case of high levels of contaminants. Quiet Mode is suitable for areas such as classrooms, meeting rooms, and offices. Upon selection, the purifier will operate through a minimized range of speeds (the three lowest of the five speeds). It adjusts the fan speed to keep the air purified as efficiently as possible while not exceeding the maximum speed level selected. In both modes, once air is cleaned and no sensors are activated, the unit lowers to energy saving mode to reduce energy consumption and extend the life of the filters.

The AeraMax Pro AM III features a HEPA filter replacement indicator, a carbon filter replacement indicator, and an accessory indicator (only used if an accessory filter is installed in the unit). It also includes a PlasmaTrue indicator so users can turn the technology on or off.

The AeraMax Pro AM III has a capacitive touch, internal access only display and requires 120V, 60 Hz, and 2 amps. With its five fan speeds, the air quality control system consumes 5, 8, 11, 21, or 100 watts and has an air delivery of 76, 93, 112, 140, or 220 CFM with sound reaching 38, 41, 48, 52, or 67 decibels (dB).

The air purifier housing material is UV stabilized ABS. It comes in Stainless Steel (#9416201), White (#9436201), and Graphite (#9446201). Custom finishes are available. The AeraMax Pro AM III can be configured as a wall mount or floor stand with an operating temperate of 41°F to 104°F (up to 60% humidity). The wall mount measures 20″ H x 21″ W x 9″ D and weighs 20.2 pounds (including filters). The floor stand measures 22.69″ H x 10.63″ W x 20.88″ D and weighs 25 pounds.

AeraMax Pro AM III is packaged with the AeraMax® PRO Air Quality Control System, one True HEPA Filter with AeraSafe antimicrobial treatment (average filter life of one year), one activated carbon filter with pre-filter (average filter life of six months), two keys for locking the front panel, a mounting template, four pan head Phillips screws (M6 x 50mm), four drywall anchors (10mm OD), and registration information.

Replacement filters for the AeraMax Pro AM III air purifier include: #9416601, a True HEPA filter replacement with AeraSafe treatment (two pack) and #9416501, a Carbon Granular activated carbon replacement filter with pre-filter (four pack).
