The Bugo Tape from The Bugo, a brand owned by Simpson Turner, part of the Fantastak Group, is a method of bed bug detection and protection. It is designed for use in any location—home or away—including hotels, offices, and dorm rooms.
The Bugo was launched in early 2015—a safe and simple to use adhesive disc shaped device that lasts up to eight weeks, is virtually invisible, and acts as a barrier against bed bugs and as a detector to infestations. The Bugo disc sticks on the floor around the bottom of the bed legs to prevent the insects from getting into the bed.
The Bugo Tape was developed for people who have floor beds or beds with no legs. Each packet of The Bugo Tape will be available in rolls of 10mtr/32,8ft, which is enough for one application around a king size bed. Like the original Bugo Discs, Bugo Tape will act as bed bug detection and as a barrier against bed bugs. It is virtually invisible, lasts up to eight weeks, and uses no pesticides or harmful chemicals.
The Bugo Tape is simple to apply, remove, and discard, and does not have any unpleasant smells or substances. It is available in soft floor application for surfaces such as carpets and rugs, or hard floor application for surfaces such as floorboards and tiles.
The Bugo Tape will launch at PLMA’s 2016 Private Label Trade Show in Chicago on November 13 – 15, 2016 at stand number H1112 in the Home & Health Section in South Hall. The Bugo team will be on hand to demonstrate the product and provide more information on distribution for Bugo branded and dual branded products.
